Do you often set #goals, but never follow through?
Starting a new business, committing to a fitness routine, staying on a budget, devoting more time away from work and with your kinds, a healthier dating life?
Chances are, if you’re like me, you’ve made one or more of these goals, set out with high hopes, but then shortly after, fell quickly off the bandwagon right back into your normal routine.
I’ll do it tomorrow. I don’t have time. I can just have one cookie. My kids won’t mind. They must have it easier than me. I don’t deserve it.
THESE little #excuses we’re all guilty of.
I can’t even count the number of times I told myself I wasn’t ever going to be successful because I wasn’t born into a family of entrepreneurs. They must have connections I don’t. They were born with more money to dedicate to their business. They don’t have the amount of student loans I do to invest. #Excuse after excuse. I was unconsciously sneaking little lies into my world. Telling myself I couldn’t move forward until I had more support, more time, more money.
In order to stop playing small and step into where you want to go you have to eradicate these excuses from your life.
What is one excuse you’ve been carrying around that’s holding you back from what you truly desire. Where is an area of life that you have set goals to improve on, but made an excuse to get out of it? What excuse can you drop today to radically #transform your life?
As Marie Forleo says, "Excuses are like wearing cement shoes in the deep end of the pool." They weight you down and hold you back from what you really want in life.
The world needs YOU. Gifts that only YOU and nobody else can express, so stop Fu*^King around, drop that excuse like it's hot!
